Changing the cleaning blade or the drum cleaning blade in a Samsung K2200 printer is an important maintenance job to make sure the long life and worth of prints. Here is a step-by-step guide to replace the cleaning blade:Turn Off and remove the Printer:

Power off the printer and remove it from the power source to make sure the safety while working on it.

Undo the Printer’s Front Cover:

Enter the toner and drum assembly by opening the front cover of the printer.

Take off the Toner Cartridge:

Softly remove the toner cartridge to uncover the drum unit.

Pull off the Drum Unit:

Carefully remove the drum unit. Lift it by its sides and avoid touching the surface of the drum to avoid damage.

Find the Drum Cleaning Blade:

The cleaning blade is normally found near the drum inside the drum unit. It settles down close to the drum surface and rubs off residual toner.

Open the Old Cleaning Blade:

Take a screwdriver to disconnect the screws holding the old cleaning blade in place. Hold these screws safe for the new blade.

Full off the Old Cleaning Blade Softly raise out the old cleaning blade. Be mindful, as toner residue might still be on the blade or in the drum unit.

Clear the Drum Unit (optional):

Before putting in the new blade, you could use pressed air to take off any dust and debris from the drum unit.

If needed, clean the drum surface with a soft, lint-free cloth. Do not use liquids or abrasive materials.

Place the New Cleaning Blade:

Install the new drum cleaning blade in the same place as the old one.

Fix the new blade with the screws you took off earlier.

Reassemble the Printer:

Glide the drum unit back into the printer.

Put back the toner cartridge.

Shut the printer’s front cover.

Turn On the Printer:

Connect the printer back to the power source and switch it on.

Check the Printer:

Take a test page to make sure that everything is working fine and that there are no problems with the print.
